Album Baru Pearl Jam

Album baru Pearl Jam, berjudul "Pearl Jam" dirilis hari ini (2 Mei 2006) di Amerika Serikat dan worldwide (ehm...kecuali Indonesia tentunya). Album ini adalah yang pertama sejak 4 tahun lalu merilis Riot Act, dan diselingi dengan album kompilasi B-Sides (Lost Dogs), A-Sides (Rearviewmirror) serta Live at Benaroya Hall dan DVD Live at the Garden.


Album ini juga merupakan landmark pertama kerjasama Pearl Jam dengan J Records yang sebelumnya banyak merilis album-album R&B (Alicia Keys dkk). Singel pertama, "Worldwide Suicide" telah mengisi airplay radio-radio di seluruh dunia sejak rilis online perdananya awal Maret lalu. Album ini banyak diisi oleh track yang back to basic, dengan mengandalkan permainan harmoni duo gitaris Stone Gossard serta Mike McCready, ditambah kontribusi maksimal Matt Cameron yang jauh lebih signifikan daripada album-album sebelumnya.
